Information on the presentation of the draft Decision on the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process and the Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process in the bank, with accompanying Guidelines, Report on the ICAAP and ILAAP application and Instructions for filling it out
As part of the FBA’s regulatory activities, supplementing of the applicable regulatory requirements was made regarding the internal liquidity adequacy assessment process in the bank (hereinafter: ILAAP) and informing or reporting to the Agency on the ILAAP for the purpose of the implementation of the Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP).
On that occasion, on Friday 07 December 2018, in the premises of the UNITIC center in Sarajevo, the FBA representatives presented the draft Decision on the internal capital adequacy assessment process and the internal liquidity adequacy assessment process in the bank, with accompanying Guidelines, Report on the ICAAP and the ILAAP application and the Instructions for filling it out, and also took active participation in discussion with the representatives of the banking sector and the Banks Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The presentation was organized by the Banks Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and there were 38 participants, representatives of the banks from the FBiH and RS. Representatives of the banks expressed satisfaction with the presentation organized and how it is presented, which will be followed by the written observations of the Banks Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with issues of common interest for the banking sector.
In accordance with the standard procedure, the FBA will take in consideration submitted observations of the banking sector through the BABiH and where appropriate make adjustments, and at the end of the public discussion send the proposals of subject regulations to the adoption procedure and official publication.
