Memorandum on cooperation signed between Banking Agency of the Federation of BiH and School of Economics and Business of University in Sarajevo
Banking Agency of the Federation of BiH and the School of Economics and Business of University in Sarajevo today signed the Memorandum on cooperation in the premises of Banking Agency of the Federation of BiH, by which an agreement is reached on scientific research work, student practice and education, donations, as well as on organization of joint scientific and professional conferences.
In addition, the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University in Sarajevo was presented.
On that occasion, Director of the Banking Agency of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jasmin Mahmuzićsaid that this is another step forward to more actively contribution to the human resources development of those who will work in the banking sector.
"One of the key segments of the banking sector stability, apart from the regulations we adopt and implement within this sector in the Federation of BiH, is also the training of human resources employed in financial institutions. We must actively work on capacity building of those who will implement regulations in financial institutions, manage processes and manage the stability of the banking sector, which means easier supervision of banking institutions, “, said Mahmuzić, Director of the Agency.
The MBA program is the answer to everything that is required today in the European Union from managers in the financial sector.
The presentation of this important program of the School of Economics and Business was attended by the highest officials and representatives from ministries of finance, banking and insurance agencies and other state institutions, as well as representatives from commercial banks, insurance and audit companies.
