Director Mahmuzić with FMA representatives discussed on the banking sector in BiH
Director of the Banking Agency of the Federation of BiH, Jasmin Mahmuzić in Vienna met representatives of the Austrian Financial Market Authority – FMA. On this occasion, it was discussed on the new regulatory framework in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as about the European regulations in the financial sector. The topics of the meeting were also the impact of the supervision to the Austrian banks in our country, the situation in the banking sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the overall economic situation. The meeting was also attended by Rade Rastoka, Director of the Banking Agency of Republika Srpska and David Rozumek, Resident Adviser of the International Monetary Fund for Banking Supervision and Regulation. The Austrian delegation was led by Mr. Helmut Ettl, a member of the FMA Executive Board. The meeting in Vienna is a continuation of good professional cooperation between the banking supervision institutions of Austria and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
